These pages contain some information on a selection of the Meccano models I have built. Most of them are personal favourites for one reason or another, although I have not always been as diligent in recording them as I might and some are now memories.

Some of the illustrations are scanned from prints and their quality leaves something to be desired. As I locate the negatives I'll rescan them, which should improve the quality, and post them here.

Meccano Ltd. made extensive use of display models to promote sales of the product. These models were designed and built in the model room at the Binns Road factory in Liverpool and made available to dealers at little more than the cost of parts.

This delightful miniature realisation of a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost was designed by John Herdman and was published in Constructor Quarterly No. 63 for March 2004.
